Speaking of art things, I posted this on my DA awhile ago and forgot about it, but I figure I might as well share this here.
Like I mentioned in my last post, I’m not pleased with my progression. There is definitely progress, but not enough to feel particularly proud of.
I’m no artist, but the way I figure it, if you make things that other people like (and you do!), you’re a success already. (It’s more than 99% of people can do!) I’ve a strong feeling that artists live in a bubble and constantly compare themselves to other artists. Doing so can affect your self-esteem IMHO. You’re not Rembrant, you’re Cider. And you’re the best Cider artist I know. 🙂
But again, I’m not an artist. Just a guy who knows what he likes, and I like your style. Improvement is always a good thing I suppose, but I’m not sure it’s the only thing. If you suddenly started drawing like… oh, name somebody… I’d probably still like it, but then you’d be “that guy who draws like xxxx.” Where’s the fun in that?
I’ve never been too big of a fan of the Prequel Booru. It’s not exactly a super deep secret of mine. I’ve found the place to be somewhat toxic, but it wasn’t bad enough to the point where I wanted to stop uploading. Things change though.

Maybe I missed it on your “keep reading” link – but I DO want to see it anyway. So if you have a link to it anywhere, I’d really like it. (I’ve got a folder for Katia fanart and, considering some of the complete bullsh*t images I have in there, I’m sure it’s better than that stuff!)

I mentioned a few days ago. I’m really hoping to see spy and solider mrrshan in the latest MOO game. Hell, I would love to see them for all the races.
I still to this day play this game regularly, as recently as 2 weeks ago. I still to this day spy on enemies only to see the spy-kitty in black latex. Soon I will try the new game. Soon.
Can we all just stop for a minute to appreciate how much sheer grace and awesomeness Cider’s managed to pack into 68 brief frames?
